Answer: First off, Make sure you don't have your CD-AUDIO muted our turned in your Volume Settings. To check this, double-click on the Speaker icon in your system tray (lower right corner of the screen by the clock). On the window that pops up, verify that Mute is unchecled under 'CD Player'. If it's not muted and your still having issues it most likely caused by not having the wire between the sound card and the CD-ROM connected. To verify this, start by unplugging your computer. Next, Open your computer up and make sure a wire is there going from the 'AUDIO OUT' on the back of the CD-ROM to the CD-IN slot on your sound card. |
