Question #1:
How do I clean my keyboard?
Answer:
Here's a quick rundown of how you can clean your keyboard!

You'll Need the following:
  • A dry cloth (lint free)
  • Some type of cleaning fluid (typically something like isopropyl alcohol).
  • Can of compressed air or vacuum cleaner.

Note: Please be sure that computer is not powered up while cleaning the keyboard.

Question #2:
When I boot my computer I get an error saying "Keyboard Not Found"?
Answer:
Your keyboard is probably not plugged into the computer securely.  Try to unplug it and then plug it back in and then reboot.  If this doesn't work, it's possible that the keyboard may be faulty and will need to be replaced.

Question #3:
Sometimes when I press a key is just keeps typing the letter.  What's wrong?
Answer:
Your keyboard is most like dirty/sticky.  Try removing the key(s) that are stuck and then cleaning under them with a damp q-tip or cloth.  Be sure the computer or the keyboard is unpluged when doing this.

Question #4:
How come when I press keys on my keyboard nothing happens?
Answer:
Question #5:
I spilled a drink on my keyboad, what do I do?
Answer:
First, Unplug the keyboard.

Next thing you'll want to do is the obvious one - turn it upside down ASAP.  This will drain all the remaining liquid (usually coffee) out of the keyboard. Give it a good shake while you're doing this.

The next step depends on "what" you've spilled on it.  If it's water you've spilled into the keyboard then it's best to just let it dry.

If it's a soda or something sticky than it's best to gentry pry off the keysIt's typically best to let it dry for 2-3 days before attempting to use it as the computer is an eletrical device and it's best to be safe than sorry.

If after all this the keyboard still doesn't work, a new keyboard may be in order.  Good Luck!
