| T1 |
A T1 is a high capacity, dedicated, point to point digital service capable of transmitting
data at speeds of up to 1.544 Mbps. |
| Task Manager |
A program built into Windows which is used to provide information about the processes
and programs running on a computer. The task manager also provides the general status
of the computer by showing it's current memory and CPU utilization. Can also be
used to kill processes and programs that are currently running. |
| TCP/IP |
A collection of application and transport protocols which run over IP. These include
FTP, Telnet, SMTP, and UDP (a transport layer protocol). |
| Telnet |
A terminal emulation program for use on networks such as the Internet or LANs. The
Telnet program runs on your computer and then connects your machine to a server
on the network.

| Terabyte |
One Terabyte = Approximately one trillion bytes. It is also equivalent to 1,000
gigabytes or 1,000,000 megabytes. |
| Trojan |
A malicious program that has disguised itself as a legitimate application or file.
A common forms of trojans are fake music or picture files in a email attachments.
Trojan infections normally open a Backdoor and often install a virus that infects
your computer. |
| TSR |
Also known as a Terminate and Stay Resident, is a system call that appeared as if
the process terminated but continued to run in the background. |
