NAT:  Also known as Network Address Translation, is a method for translating internal IP or network addresses into a single globally unique IP address.

NetBEUI: An acronym for NetBIOS Extended User Interface is non-routable network and transport-level data protocol commonly used as one of the layers of Microsoft Windows networking. It is pronounced 'net-booey'.

NetBIOS: Or Network Basic Input/Output System, is the original network API for DOS and also the foundation for NetBEUI.

Network Adapter: A network adaptor, also known as a"network interface card" or NIC, is a hardware unit that connects a device to a network allowing it to communicate with a LAN or Internet.

Networking: A group of two or more computer systems linked together for the purpose of electronically sharing resources such as computer files, programs, peripheral devices, or other distributed services. There are two main types of computer networks, LAN and WAN.

NTFS: Which stands for NT File System is file system which is native to Microsoft Windows. NTFS is probably the most advanced file system available for computers because of it's great performance, excellent security, and crash protection. NTFS also has the ability to handle large volumes of data where older file systems such FAT were lacking.
