When speaking of computer networking, a default gateway is a device that routes
traffic from your local network subnet to devices on other subnets.

| Gbps: |
Gbps or Gigabits is the speed at which data transfer is measured. Gbps is equal
to 1 billion bits of data per second. |
| GHz: |
Hertz pertains to the number of times an electrical signal completes a full cycle
in one second. 1 GHz means the signal has changed cycles one billion times in one
second. |
| GIF: |
Gifs or Graphics Interchange Format are the most widely used graphic format on the
web. GIF images display up to 256 colors. |
| Gigabyte: |
Also known as GB, is a unit of storage measurement consisting of one billion bytes
(or approx one thousand megabytes). |
| GPF: |
This occurs when the Operating System cannot process a command generated by a running
program and cannot continue without dropping the command from memory. GPFs can be
displayed as the Blue Screen of Death (aka the BSOD) or possibly by a System Error
message.

A GPS, or Global Positioning System, is a device which uses satellites that allows
a user with a receiver to determine precise coordinates for their location on the
earth's surface. |
| GUI: |
Pronounced as 'gooey' is an acronym for graphical user interface. GUI's are based
on graphics (icons and pictures and menus) instead of text and uses a mouse and
keyboard as an input device.
